MikeyBe: A New Toronto Hopeful

I have been following MikeyBe now for some time in the Toronto Music Scene.  He is not well known and for the most part a diamond in the rough in my opinion.  But I have great hopes for this cat and im really looking forward to working with him on his Fall Launch of his Mixtape “SideB”.  When I listen to his raps it reminds me so much of the one album smash AsherRoth but I feel with MikeyBe’s skill he can be both funny and lyrical.

My Favorite track right now is Grapes a la Vodka which is pretty jokes but has a definite head bob so check him out and enjoy – Stay Tuned for our upcoming interview aswell…

The shoes won’t be available online or for phone order – you need to be in-line at the store to get your hards on these. Ward&Co. Finds a new home

As many of you know I own and operate Ward&Co. a small and unique marketing and communications group.  Over the years I have been conflicted with the work I have been doing mostly all for the “For Profit” sector.  Dont get me wrong I love the work I do for my clients but something was for me was missing.  Until 2 years ago after working with my first NGO First Nations Development Institute and its Sister Organization Oweesta.  Both organizations have truly reignited the spirituality in me and have really pushed me into wanting to work with and help more like orgniazations.

Since relocating back to Toronto I have been pursuant in getting connected with the Social Innovation Community and this is where I have found the “Center for Social Innovation” Watch the video here…It is a dedicated center of companies, freelancers, consultants all striving for exactly the same thing I am “Social Change”.  And I am proud to report that their group has accepted my application to join the community there.

I look very forward to connecting with like minded individuals and becoming part of the ever growing casue changing effect of the work we all do.
